Bike Indianapolis Helps Raise $7,000 for Bike Lights; Here’s How You Can Help Distribute Them.

First and foremost, thank you Indianapolis for helping us raise $7,000 with Bike Lane Uprising to fund 700 sets of bike lights for bike commuters in NYC, Washington DC and Indianapolis! Your contributions and support have allowed us to secure 200 sets of bike lights to distribute to Indianapolis residents biking in the dark.

But now we have 200 sets of lights, and we need your help to distribute them. Bike Indianapolis members can contact Jarron@BikeIndianapolis.org to request bike lights and coordinate pick-up.

We’re asking that members participating in bike light distribution take 2-3 minutes to report details of when and where they distribute lights, so that we can utilize data to better serve residents riding without lights and secure additional bike lights in the future.
